Hey guys I was trying to change some settings on an Avital 4103 (remote start and keyless) and i've messed something up. One remote works correctly but on the other remote if i want to start the vehicle, i've got to hit (one after the other) start, lock, unlock- before the vehicle starts. Simply pressing the start button on the remote doesn't do anything. Is there any way I can reset this thing to factory settings?

I tried the steps on page 29/30 to 'reset features' but that doesn't really do anything. I've thought about doing the steps to deleting the remotes and re-learning them, but there's a sentence in the guide that says "it is not possible to teach a remote control to the system more than once." Does this mean that if I delete the remotes that I have that they will never work with it again? Does anyone know what to do to get it back to normal? I really have no clue what I did to get it this way. Any thoughts are appreciated!
I didn't do it. *nodnod*

If it was me, I would try to relearn the remote that is acting funny. If that didn't do anything I would reset to factory defaults, then delete all remotes, and then relearn the remotes to the system. But that is me.

On my Viper 571xv, Viper 5301LE, and Viper 5701LE  I have deleted all remotes and then have relearned the same remotes to those systems with no problems.  The reason I did that was to remove the One Way remote and add only Two Way remotes.
