does anyone have a wiring diagram to wire the two of these together? it is for a 2004 denali. Will I still need to hardwire the start option from the viper? Thanks in advance.

If the iDatalink ADS DL is flashed with ADS DL GM1 Ver 4.5 firmware, follow the Type 3 wiring

diagram.  Make all of the connections ( both Black dashed and Red ) between the Viper and the
ADS DL.  The Pink Ignition wire can connect to the Vipers H3/1 Pink wire, which then continues
to the vehicles Pink Ignition wire at the Ign Harness.  Note that the ADS DL supplied Door/Trunk
Status ( Green ) does not monitor the rear doors.  You will have to connect them seperately
with diode isolation.

You will still connect the Viper H3 harness to the vehicles ignition wires.  That includes

the White Ignition2 wire using the H3/7 Pink/White wire set at the Viper default of IGN2.

   ADS                                                          Signal                                                               Viper

BLUE/WHITE                            GROUND-OUT WHEN RUNNING (-) -              H2/10 DARK BLUE
BLACK                                       GROUND -                                                              H1/5 BLACK
RED                                           +12V -                                                                      H1/2 RED
GREEN/ BLACK                       LOCK/ARM (-) INPUT -                                         3 GREEN (-) 500mA LOCK OUTPUT
BLUE/BLACK                          UNLOCK/DISARM (-) INPUT -                             1 BLUE (-) 500mA UNLOCK OUTPUT
RED / WHITE                             TRUNK (-) INPUT -                                               NA  ( Locks & Unlocks with doors )
BROWN                                    DISARM (-) INPUT -                                              H2/1 LIGHT GREEN/ BLACK
PURPLE / YELLOW                 LEFT SLIDING DOOR (-) INPUT -                      NA
PURPLE / BLACK                    RIGHT SLIDING DOOR (-) INPUT -                    NA
GREEN                                    DOOR/TRUNK STATUS (-) OUTPUT -              H1/8 GREEN
PURPLE / WHITE                    TACH OUTPUT (AC) -                                           H2/9 VIOLET/WHITE

Remember to set the ADS DL module to Standard Mode ( two blinks ) and lock it in prior to

programming to the vehicle.

If the ADS DL is flashed with the DBI DL GM1 Ver 4.4 firmware, follow the Type 3 install shown

in the DBI-DL-GM1 guide.  Connect the DBI D2D cable between the ADS DL and the Viper and the
two solid Black wires shown.  Remember to set the ADS DL module to Data Mode ( one blink ) and
lock it in prior to programming to the vehicle.

Soldering is fun!

Also, there is no d2d cable for the idatalink and the 5901, so i am forced to wire it w2w. Thanks again.
