Hello,
Having trouble install my avital 2101L keyless entry system into my 97 Nissan Maxima. Searching online, and through these forums helped me quite a bit. I'm having an issue with the door lock and am able to lock all the doors, and unlock all the doors but am unable to get the unlock (only for drivers side to work).

Checked this out but was unable to do anything with it as I am confused on what wires to hook up. Checking the EL door lock schematic on the door, I hooked up my BLUE (avital) to the GREEN/ YELLOW in the door switch, GREEN/ BLACK (avital) to my LightGREEN/ Red in door switch, VIOLET/BLACK(avital) to my BROWN / white.
Here are the helpful links that I used as well as the FSM.

(Go to EL for Electrical; Page 224 for the door lock/switch)
12volt.com wiring for maxima here if it would help:

Want to also note that the car does NOT the factory keyless entry system in place. I'm thinking I need another relay to make this work but I'm a bit confused on how I would have to go about it.

Figured it out, for those having the issue, the Maxima 97 doesn't have a driver preference lock (from my understanding). Circumvent this issue by programming your key fob to do the second pulse from the get go and you should be good.

Sorry guys I lied. I was still unable to get it to work, and was unable to get it to the programming of the unit as well. Fairly new to this but I thought I could get it to work. I was wrong.
Here's what I connected to for the wires using what was thankfully provided on the volt website (which I checked on the EL on the FSM):
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/alarmdetail/1630.html
Avital Blue to Maxima Door GREEN/ YELLOW
Avital GREEN/ Black to Maxima Door Light GREEN/ Red
Avital VIOLET/BLACK to Maxima Door BROWN / White

No programming is possible on DEI brands unless you hook up to the vehicle ignition wire. Hook the H1/15 yellow to vehicle ignition wire.
With the Aviatal internal door lock relay you need to provide a ground for the negative door pulse. Hook H1/7 (Violet/Black) and H1/9 (Violet) to ground.
Avital Blue 2nd unlock to Door GREEN/ YELLOW to unlock all remaining doors. System Feature 5 set to on. Double Pulse unlock.
If you have a factory alarm You will also need to wire H1/13 Lt. GREEN/ Black to Door GREEN/ YELLOW to disarm alarm. So alarm disarms with driver door.
Avital Blue/Black to driver door BROWN / White which should unlock only the drivers door.

Then you will need to use relays to power the door lock actuator motor leads direct.
Will need to apply 12v to one leg (Brown) and ground to the other( BROWN / White). If I have it right other wise it will be reversed,
