this is my first alarm install and only have 1 question. where is the best place to install the brain? it is going into a 95 gmc jimmy. thanks for all your help in advance

also what is the best way to make the connections? are scotch locks acceptable?

i need to know if i need to install a relay to pop the hatch glass. i know it is the RED / white wire on the h1 harness but do i really need to install a relay or can i wire directly to the hatch glass switch or the keyless module.1995 GMC JIMMY.

You will need a relay depending on the polarity of the Hatch release. Most AUX channels from alarm systems are only 200 - 500 ma that will control a relay to pulse a signal.
