Hi, I'm having a little trouble installing an aftermarket alarm and remote start system in my NA Nissan 300zx.  I have a basic knowledge of car electronics; I installed my own car stereo and an amp and subs so I know how to run wires and such.  However, I do not understand the locking system in my car, as there is only one wire.  Which of the three diagrams in pic 1 do I use?

Secondly, I do not know what either the door trigger input or the window module output is or where to find them.  And finally, what is the high voltage coil the 2nd diagram talks about and where do I get it and how do I use it?

Please look at this website for diagrams: http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/bpoppe4/lst?.dir=/Alarm+Install

Sorry if I sound like a noob, but that's because I am. Alarm/Remote Start Questions -- posted image. Thanks for any help in advance!

ok in most newer one wire systems in your car it is a type f system
which means when you cut the wire or interupt the wire it will lock and when you ground the wire it will unlock.
so this is what you have to do
find the wire and cut in in half
take one relay and connect the lock wire from alarm.
to pin 85.
connect unlock wire as well as one side of cut wire both to pin 87a.
connect 12 volts fused to pin 86.
connect other end of cut wire to pin 30
oin 87 not used this is your door lock system to test for this system
before anything
ground the wire the doors will unlock.
and if so then cut the wire and if the doors lock than follow the relay config above.
email me for help
i will respond asap;

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

The car is a 92. And thanks djfearny, I'll try that soon and see if that works. Anyone know anything about the high voltage coil?
