2002 Camaro with full factory security system purchased a prox. sensor from Asianwolf color code of sensor matches the color code of shock sensor near spare tire on pass. side. How do I wire the sensor and where should the sensor be placed. There is a wireing diagram on the sensor box but no instructions. Tried to have it installed but all they wanted was to sell me another system.

Why can't you follow the wiring diagram? If you must hook it inline with the shock sensor. I've mounted one on the arm rest of the center console but its a bear to adjust after that. Plus it could be in sunlight which stops it from working correctly

Locate it as close to the car as possible.  If you have a dual zone proximity sensor you will need a warn away trigger and a full trigger, unless the wire is multiplexed.  If you currently have a dual stage shock sensor and it has 2 trigger wires, then hook up warn away for prox. and shock together and full trigger for both together.  If there is only one wire for warn away and full, then hook both triggers from prox to the trigger wire from the alarm.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like YOU couldn't follow the instructions. I just meant did they not show wiring pins outs correctly. :(

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
