I'm installing a valet stand alone remote start in a 2003 toyota camry where I want the remote start to activate when the lock button is pushed twice to show two pulses to activate the remote start. The only problem is that the lock pulse also activates the factory alarm which won't let the car start. I have installed the 555u with the valet remote start.I was wondering if anyone out there has installed a similar remote start system that might be able to help me with the wiring info on this car and a valet remote start that activates with the factory keyless entry remote, where the remote start activates by hitting lock twice to keep the doors locked but at the same time disarm the alarm.I also diode isolated the start wire from the second start wire to keep them from feeding into one another,so if anyone has installed a system like this in this car I would deeply appriciate the help. thanks sean

Are you trying to keep the locks and trunk pop all on one remote? Cause your Valet can do all that
