I have installed a few security systems before, one with a two window rollup module. I am wanting to install a window rollup and sunroof close module in my new car (03 Cavalier)
Back when I installed my first security system, I remember seeing modules that would do two windows and a sunroof in one module. I cannot seem to find such an animal anymore. Do any of you security system guru's know where I could get such a thing.
In my parousing through the internet, I saw post where someone mentioned that you could accomplish such a feat as rolling the sunroof closed using a two window rollup module. I am not sure that would be the way I would like to go. My goal here is to be able to close my windows and sunroof using my clicker. Opening them would be nice too, but not a neccissity. Thanks in advance for the advice!

I have installed two seperate modules to control both the windows and sunroof, but have never seen one module to control both.  In addition there are modules that will control the windows in both directions.

I have never seen a module specifically for the sunroof, I have traditionally used the window roll up modules.  In addition, the only problem that I have found is if your sunroof requires that you hit you button twice to close.  For example, you hold down the button to close and it partially closes, and then you have to hit it again to close it completely.  In those instances, the end user has to hit the transmitter button twice to close the sunroof if you hook up a module to the sunroof.

From my perspective, I would hook up 2 modules to meet your requirements.  1 module to control the windows in both directions(as mentioned above), and 1 window roll up module to control the open and close function of the sunroof.

Mine is a one touch open, and a two touch close. Is ther any animal out there that would lose it for me? Maybe a window module with some sort of timed, or doube pulse relay?

I am an moron, its two touch open, one touch close. So, closing would work fine, as far as opening it, could I use a doulbe pulse, or timed relay?

Are you sure about the two touch open, I have never heard of such.  Is one touch for the tilt feature and the second touch to open completely?

Yes, you could install a double pulse or timed relay and that would solve the problem of hitting the tranmitter button twice.

That what I meant by two touch open, one for lift, the second touch for fully open. Sorry for not being clearer. My guess is that the timed realy would be better? One that would automaticaly double pulse I think would be too quick.
Anyone know where to get a good timed relay? (preferably an adjustable unit)
Thanks for all the help guys and gals!
