Looking for the door lock wire(s) for a 90 300zx. I'm trying to hook up the power lock option, but can't seem to figure it out. I have a service manual and it doesn't tell you jack. The alarm i'm using is an Alpine 8049. I found 2 wires that come from the door lock the read gnd and when the door is unlocked it momentarily reads 12v and the opposite for the other wire when the doors are manually locked. I tried these wires and no go. Any help on this would be much appreciated....one more thing how do you program the shock sensor sensitivity with the remote?

Thanks

You will need an actuator attached to the driver side lock/unlock motor. Go here for a diagram:

Wire up the Alpine alarm wire to two actuators, there are internal relays for the aftermarket actuators in the brain so no external relays are needed:

  • BROWN / BLUE+GREEN/ BLUE - Ground
  • BROWN / RED + GREEN/ RED - Constant 12 volts +
  • WHITE/ GREEN - one side of the actuators ( BLUE or GREEN )
  • WHITE/ BROWN - other side of the actuator ( BLUE or GREEN )

To set the impact sensitivity you have to go through the radar sensitivity programming first . Please email me for a scanned version of the manual that I have. There is too much to write for the programming of the impact sensor.

Best Regards,

Jeff
