2000 blazer brake wire

I was probing around the car yesterday and I noticed that I have 2 white wires at the brake switch.  Both of them shows +12 volts when the brake is pressed.  I am planning on installing a CS423 remote starter.  Does it matter which white wire I choose.  Thanks.

Also I want to make sure I've located the correct tach wire.  It's on the passenger side engine.  3 wires form a plug which I think is plugged into the control module.  The wires are white(tach, i think), WHITE/ black, and another color that I don't recall.

It doesn't matter which white wire you use at the brake as long as it feeds the module a positive signal when the brakes are applied. If I remember correctly,

both those white wires are going into the same spot in the back of the connector at the brake.

Tach wire should be WHITE/ black.

Thanks D.  Sorry, I did mean wihte/black for tach.  But is the location correct.  I'm just a little concerned.  I'm use to tachless starters.

The Direct Start CS423 is very fussy about tach signals. Most GM products ( Pontiac, Chevy, Olds, etc ) use the WHITE wire in the plug ( even though most documentation says it's WHITE/ BLACK or VIOLET/WHITE ) . If you do end up using the WHITE/ BLACK wire and the tach signal is present but not clean, the remote starter will engage but will only crank for about .5 seconds and will only try to start once.
