A customer called me up today to say that once and a while,  when he locks his truck his door chime will stay on.   Like the next morning, he will hear it chimeing away.

I installed a Autostart AS-6010 alarm/starter combo, and used a data bypass, , , my mind is slipping, , i forget the brand, , its a GM DATA ALL.

Could this be a factory defect, ,seeing it only does it once and a while, , like once every 5-10 times?

something is backfeeding.  see if you can use a (-) parking light wire and did you diode isolate the door triggers?  the BCM is thinking something is on.
