I hooked up my alarm/remote start/ keyless entry combo and the alarm works fine. i didnt hook up the remote start for now though. well i get in my car to drive and shut all the doors, and after driving for 30 seconds the passive arming and locks activate, therefore turning on the alarm. I dont know why. Please help, its a 92 Integra. Please help as fast as possible. Thank you.

Is your ignition wire from the alarm hooked up? Is it connected to the correct ignition on your vehicle? Is the accessory wire connected?

I had that exact same problem hook up the accessory wire and your trouble is gone. It was frustrating to know that something as simple as that is what the problem was. Hook that wire up and post your results.

Why can't you turn off the PASSIVE arming feature ? Try what SOUND PRESSURE suggested and it that does not work disable the auto arming feature.

thanks sound pressure. sorry it took so long to get back to you with the answer, ya now its workin just fine. the reason i couldnt use the valet button is because you need the ignition on to use it and if the alarm doesnt realize the ignition is on, you have no valet switch. thanks again for the help
