2001 siverado remote starter help

Im installing a commando 5005 starter alarm combo not sure what i need to do. im having problems with the starter portion. i keep getting the security light and the starter will not start . it just cranks. Any help would be great. btw my truck is basic no electric locks or doors all i want is the alarm to work and for it to start!!

What module did you use to bypass the Passlock II feature ??

You need to bypass the Passlock II system otherwise the truck will never start. You will need a GMBP or PLXR for this truck to be remote started.

thanks for the replys i finally got the starter to work. i had to buy a 555 bypass that learns the system and im gonna return the cheap bypass that you had to flip dip switches to get it to work   thanks again
