I have a Prestige APS-15KB installed on my 1993 Saturn and I want to replace the stock red LED with something brighter. Is there any way I can do this? I've seen some varad LEDs that are sold on ebay, could I use one of these off the existing wires going to the current LED? Thanks

test the voltage comming out of the led port on your alarm, if it's something from 1.5 - 3V then you can just pick up a brighter led from a electronic parts store, like mouser, radio shack or something like that,, get something that's like 3000 lms or whatever they're rated at.. anyways, if it's 'more like 12 then you need something like the varad one,, problem is the varad ones already have resistors in them, and i think most alarms have the resister built into the alarm, so if you put a varad on a 2 or 3 volt output, it will be very very dim,,, if it turns out you need a resistor i have a bag full of REALLY bright blue ones, i would mail ya one if you want, not a big deal, msg me back
