I have a new '05 GMC Sierra "base" model (not Work truck, not SLE) that has factory power locks, but no keyless entry.  I also have, in the box, the following:

Viper 650XV,  Viper GPS, Viper 456g

All I have done so far is locate the BCM under the dash.

Any suggestions as to which component to start with?  Or should I find a DEI expert in Kansas City and give the whole mess to him and go have a cold refreshment?

I am primarily interested in the keyless entry function, since the vehicle already has Passkey II, and of course the GPS for when they just decide to tow it off.

Thanks very much for any advice you would give me!

i always start with the alarm itself first, the 650xv part.  everything else is a plug into that.
If you say "I already know how", don't ask me a single question.
