The 457g interface is overkill on this truck. It will work, but you will still have to wire doorlocks and disarm. You should use a (dei) 555L or LW, but my preference is the gm-bp by bypasskits.com. 4 wire hookup, constant power, ground, ground out while r/s, and output to purple data wire in OBD port. the 457g controls doorlocks and factory alarm functions, but only on 03 and up with factory door control modules. You need to hook up - locks, light blue and white at fuse block in plug and factory disarm wire, light green in the driver side kick panel.

You don't. Disarm from the remote start goes to the light green in the far right BCM plug under the column.
All door pins are also at the BCM, last 2 plugs to the right. Tan for driver's, light blue for all others. Diode isolate.
You may have passlock problems using the 457G for passlock.... or you may luck out. The 555L would be a much more stable and cheap solution.
