I have a '91 Dodge Dakota that I installed a Ultrastart 2250 security system in. I wired the door locks using their 5/wire reverse polarity door lock diagram which uses 2 relays. The doors locks do not work even from the factory switches on the door. Did I wire it wrong and could someone please help?

Yes you wired it wrong....if it worked BEFORE you got in there....yup.

ORANGE / purple for lock, pink/purple for unlock.

Door locks -- posted image.
The switch side will still operate after cutting the wire....thats how you know you have the correct side of the wire!

I cut the orange and pink wires. Are you saying I need to cut ORANGE / purple and pink/purple wires instead?
