I put a remote start on this truck and every now and then after remote started when you hop in and put the key in cycle it forward/hit the brake it will say the door is ajar although it is not. I haven't seen this one yet, anybody got a fic for it.

Other than swapping the brain or double checking the trigger wire to make sure that some of the copper strands didn't snap and make a weak connection, I have no idea.

Has DEI support heard of this problem with this particular vehicle. May be a software bug in that bypass version release.

This may sound dumb but by trigger wires do you mean the connections going to the door triggers. If so according to dei tech I was not supposed to hook them up.

I'd try hardwiring the door trigger and leave the rest of the wires running through the bypass. If it corrects it, make a note in your wiring daigrams and give a heads up to Directed.

I have it hooked as such blue/white to white purple -status from remote start, green to green wire from remote start, blue to blue, I don't have anything hooked to the door triggers from the remtoe start or the 457g....I've called directed twice and got 2 different answers the first guy said not to hook to the door triggers an 2 wire it the way it is now. I did that, still could get the drivers door ajar to trigger sometime, I called back and the 2nd tech blamed the ultra starter (of course) I have tried changing the brains just for kicks.

Oh and yes the first tech said they had heard of it happening with some of  the 457g. Nightmare, maybe I'll have to switch it out for the gmdl-bp.

I have heard of this happening many times with the 457G. The techs at DEI know about it. Switch it out for a GMDL-BP and your problems will go away.
