1995 subaru svx

425/545 code alarm combo

one last try, buying viper alarms, again i hate code alarm....any ideas why on the car if i ground out the remote start activate wire the car starts fine, but if you use the remote the car does nothing all that happens is 5 parking light flashes?

thinking i need to build a relay of some sort however i havnt had this problem before,

what does that 5 parking light flashes indicate? look in the manual for the diagnostic.

hoodpin; saftey switch, brake not connected, what im geting at is that the car starts if you use the remote start activate wire is grounded, which it should, the manual specifies that the wire is to start vehicle if a ground pulse is applied, so im just baffled, hope sombody knows :)

deleat the remotes and re program them.

have you called up tech support, did you install this your self or had a shop do it. if a shop take it back. does this happen on both remotes, does any others buttones work. im not sure on the model you have, can you cahnge the button around so the RS is on a differtn button, looks liek your remotes are bad
