1996 Olds 98 Coolant Level Sys Problem

Never heard of it, but I have an idea that would take you two seconds to try, without having to take the car apart. Insert the key halfway in the ignition, and be ready. Activate the remote start. As soon as the engine starts, Bang! quickly insert the key and turn it backward to the Accessory position. And then what happens? Do you still get the same error message? If that seemed to make it work right, then you'd probably have to power up the brown wire. I agree with you about trying to keep the wipers (and radio) disabled during remote start. If you end up needing to power the brown wire, maybe you could wire up a relay to interrupt the wipers or something.
