I installed a Autostart AS-1414 on my 1996 Olds 98. It all works fine except for one thing. I get an error on the Information Center after a remote start. Coolant lvl sys prblm 40. If I start the car normally or use the quick stop feature it is fine. I only connected the pink (ignition) and the orange (acc) wires. Do I need to energize another wire? I am reluctant to heat the brown wire because from what I can tell that would allow the wipers to run. Has anyone run into this before on GM C bodies?

Never heard of it, but I have an idea that would take you two seconds to try, without having to take the car apart.
Insert the key halfway in the ignition, and be ready. Activate the remote start. As soon as the engine starts, Bang! quickly insert the key and turn it backward to the Accessory position.
And then what happens? Do you still get the same error message? If that seemed to make it work right, then you'd probably have to power up the brown wire.
I agree with you about trying to keep the wipers (and radio) disabled during remote start. If you end up needing to power the brown wire, maybe you could wire up a relay to interrupt the wipers or something.
