99-02 Windstar alarm installations

Hi guys:

Looking at the wiring diagram, I need to know what is the easier way to do the parking light. Its confusing on the diagram. Can I swith the prority of the positive parking light from the alarm with a relay and convert it to negative and than tap it to the parking lights on the car? Please help

the easiest way is if your alarm has negative polarity outputs for parking lights. if so,you can connect direstly to the parking light wire. if not you will have to change the positive out to negative thru a relay. heres how to wire the relay: 

pin 86-to the positive parking light output of alarm

pin 85- ground

pin 87-ground

pin 30- to parking light wire

the color of you parking light wire is yellow/light blue located at the ecm (behind drivers dash, left of steering column) in your vehicle

Will this work with change the positive to negative with a relay, I have never install this car and checking the database it ask me to do what Jeff told me to use, which is the link below. I want to use your set up its more easilier, but Jeff told me that it may get a feed from the headlight, is that true?

Please help!
