I'm looking for the neutral safety wire (if any) on my 98 S-10 2.2 ltr M/T 2wd. any info you may have will be appreciated.

neutral safty is done thru the clutch....are you doing a remote start?

Yes, I'm installing a remote start and I'm looking for a good way to keep it from starting in gear. any ideas?

yeah.. heres an idea.. DONT DO IT.. not worth "forgetting" it in gear and running over the neighbor kids.. Ultimately.. everyone that has put a remote start on a manual car has heard of or seen first hand things gone wrong.. not worth it by any stretch..
