So i know that the VSS wire for the 01 vette is GREEN / WHITE at the computer under the hood behind the tire next to the battery.  But I was in there and there were at least ten to fifteen different GREEN / WHITE wires within a foot of each other.  Can anyone be more specific as to where the VSS wire is.  Is it under the Fuse/Realy center, or under the battery, or maybe in a harness with X amount of wires with it.  I would greatle appreciate the help.  My customer has been very patient with the delay, but his limit is quickly aproaching

You need to test for it. Place the red lead to constant +12V, and take the black lead to each of the GREEN / WHITE wires, then roll the car back and forth about ten feet. The wire you want is the one that goes between nothing and a ground. The wire may also be at the radio.

There are two plugs for your engine computer. The VSS wire is in position 50 of the red one. The plug must be removed to see the color. If you take the cover off the back of the plug the pins should be labeled with numbers.
