I drive a 1995 S10 blazer that was my dads previous work car.  The fan speed switch went out so he cut the wires on the fan so he wired it up and ran a hot wire into the blazer to a toggle switch and ground out where the console used to be.  My question is, I bought a 12 V DC SPDT 30 amp relay and want to hook it up to a switch so I dont burn it out.  How would I wire this in  to my vehiclewiring in a 12 vdc spdt 30 amp relay -- posted image.

Connect terminal 30 to the battery via a 10 Gauge wire and a 30 amp fuse AT the battery.  Connect terminal 87 to the positive wire of the fan.   Ground the negative connection of the fan.

Ground terminal 85 of the relay.  Connect terminal 86 of the relay to one leg of the toggle switch.   Connect the other terminal of the switch to a switched 12 volt source.

Is there any way to cut the 4 wires from the old switch plug to make a 2 pin toggle switch work  or any way to make a dpdt toggle switch work in its place?

I do not understand what you are asking about the old switch plug.  Yes you can use a DPDT switch.

I can't see the fan.  What color are the wires on the fan?
