My friend has a 93 Achieva, and they want to have their trunk sound deaded because after they installed subs it rattles too much. Does anyone know how much he should buy for it? Also any suggestions on sound deadening?

If you’re going to be doing the whole trunk you will use in between 50 and 70 sq/ft. I would also suggest you use a deadening product called Brown Bread http://www.b-quiet.com/brownbread.html

Thanks. I didn't realize how expensive B-quiet was. I don't think my friend is going to want to spend that much on a $400 setup. Thanks again though!

yeah I know, thats the sad part. I always thought it was cheaper, or I just didn't think that you would need 70 sq ft lol. I remember b-quiet was the type to get when it came out because Dynamat was overpriced. Maybe I can talk him into it.

His other option would be to buy a smaller amount and try and isolate each rattle.

Yeah, I think that is what I'm going to have to help him with. Thanks for the help!

Has anyone actually done a 93 achieva trunk or one like it?
