Im looking to find out how if there is a kit I can buy that will interface to my alarm so that when I press the accessory output button on the transponder, the boot opens ?
I have saw some kits on the net but when I emailed the co, they said I had to already have the cable boot release installed, I dont have this.
The car is a 99 BMW convertible, dont know if this makes a difference.

Do you have a button or a lever that will pop the "boot" or "trunk"?

No I dont have the lever. I have saw a couple of kits on the net but having the cable already there seems to be a pre requisite. ???!

auex, the only button I have is on the remote. There is nothing in the car (oher than the button on the 'trunk' itself that will open it.

auex, the only button I have is on the alarm transponder. Its a clifford alarm but the output has nothing to connect to at the moment. Hope this is what you meant? There is nothing in the car (oher than the button on the 'trunk' itself that will open it.
