Hi all, I going to attempt my first fiberglass job on my s2000. The location is in the trunk where the tool tray goes. I will be fiberglassing the bottom portion and coming up the sides about a inch from the tool tray area. The sub to be installed is a Polk db 12" or my current db 10" which I currently have. I have looked online and found how to fiberglass the bottom the problem is the top, all guides show some fancy glass work on the top. What I want to do is just put a fitted mdf top on this box and not one site shows how to do this. The purpose is to be stealth. Also there is a product called poly resin or something of that nature should i use this or just stick to plain old resin. Sorry for the long post.
Thanks.

You can simply attach the fiberglass onto the MDF. The resin will stick to the MDF very well so it you just attach the MDF to the fiberglass and then fiberglass the corners you will be fine.
That resin you mentioned is just typical resin.

didn't have to glass the box in mine - i can send you a diagram for a basic box that will fit in the tool well if you would like - along with the measurements for spare tire amp rack...
