I was thinking about making a custom box to go in the extended part of the cab to mount 2 12" subs on the outside of 2 6x9s which go over top of the drive shaft.all the speakers will be horizontal. any ideas?
thanks, tom

I say don't bother with the 6x9s in the rear and spend the extra money on better speakers in the front or a better amp.

yeah don't use 6x9s. people used them before for the extra bass if they couldn't afford subs and an amp, or if they didn't have alot of space... in MY opinion, they don't even soud that good and i'd deffinatly get good components for the frond.... but if you want to use them you can, don't let anybody stop you of criticize you or you ideas, just be open for opinions, because that's all that they are.... make sure you post pics man
