Glass wont stick

Iv been glassing for a while now so I pretty much get the basics. I got a piece in my trunk that i wanted to glass so the paint would look good. Its a kinda plastic piece but it looks vinyl. When i did my buddys dash I used prepall on top then layed the glass overtop and it turned out fine, but when i did it to the trunk piece, when it cured the glass started to come off. I dont want a mold. Why wont it stick im confused now. Please helpWhen you do things right, people won't realize you've done anything at all.

sounds like sealed cell plastic, pretty standard for vehicles. Give it a sanding with some medium/fine grit sandpaper and use some promotor to help it adhere better.Never send your ducks to eagle school.
