I need help. I'm working on an 85 nissan kingcab p/u. It has two flashers; one large and one small. I'm not sure why. If anyone can explain this that might help.

Basically while trying to troubleshoot and find a replacement I have lost the original larger flasher. It looks something like the one in the picture but it is a two prong not a three pring flasher. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for this. The truck itself is very rare and I can't find any info on the flasher itself. I know that is a Niles Japan Flasher thats it.

Thanks

try your local part store. any Flashing or timing relay will do the trick. just wire it up and solder away.

Well lucky for me I found the original. Unfortunately they do not sell this type at the usual parts store and just any ol flasher would not work either. I tried. There are two flashers one for the hazards and one for the blinkers. The hazards flasher looks like a normal one you could get from the parts store and the larger one for the blinkers is unusual.

Oh well I found it and the prob is now solved thanks for looking and posting.
