i am told that they are pulsing because of the fault detection system... how can i stop the pulsing when the ignition is off

im sligtly aware i might need a resistor but what size and where do you get them ?

It would really help if we knew exactly how you have the LEDs connected.  What kind of a vehicle would help lots too.

Are the LEDs grounded and are getting power from the headlight bulb?   Have you checked with a volt meter to see what kind of voltage there is on the headlamp bulb when the key is off?   How many wires are there on the LEDs?  What are the functions of the wires?

Are both headlight bulb connectors on the same bulb?  Is the headlight a dual element bulb?   Try grounding the black wire of the LEDs to the chassis of the vehicle.  And connect only the positive wire to the headlight.

Not a duel eliment bulb and both connectors are the same size... i will try your idea.. thank you
i know the pulsing is the headlight testing system that checks for blown bulbs so maybe your idea will work
thank you
