Hi Folks, I have a 2000GT Celica, I'm currently doing some modifications to make things look a bit nicer hehe.
Now I have installed some leds in my doorhandle's.
I want them to go on when I (remotely) unlock my car's doors. Also I want them to go on when I open the doors.
I made a small circuit with a timer which sets itself when it gets one of those signals. And resets itself after 30 seconds.
However, I need to get the 'door unlock' signal. I really dont know where I can find it. Does anybody know?
Thanks.
Johannes

under the driver side dash if you remove the left kicker panel you should be able to locate a RED / white wire which connects to ground and a blue/white wire which is power. these wires work with the dome light in your vehicle to turn on when the door is open, and slowly dim when its closed.
