I was wondering if anyone could give me some assistance with my system. i have 2 Audiobahn AW1205Q Subwoofers. i'm trying to get the most power out of my amp as possible. the amp i have is a Kenwood KAC-8104d. But no one is familiar with the subwoofer due to each sub having 8 terminals. Thats right 8. can someone please let me know how to get these set up the best way possible

What you have is known as a Quad voice coil woofer, that's right it has 4 voice coils.  You need to determine the impedance of the coils so we can help you. We will also know the minimum impedance load your amp can handle.

According to the specs you posted on the woofer, it is a dual voice coil woofer.  There should be only 4 connections on such a woofer.  How many tinsel wires are there that go from the connectors to the cone of the woofer?   Are there 4 terminals that do not have a wire coming from them?

If you do determine that there are only 2 voice coils per woofer, follow the below diagram to connect them to your amplifier.

Option 2 (series/parallel) = 2 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 2 or 1 ohm mono
