It has something to do with the way that your speakers are grounded I think? Are they common ground or chassis ground? What kind of head unit are you working with?

k im running a jvc kds570 cd player.

i just ripped the dassh apart and found the ground wire secure and all so im going to trace the antenna wire and see how that looks. Now where do you run the power wire if u were running the whole wiring system so i can trace that or at least look without tracing all around the car?

as far as the speaker grounds i have n idea i just took the rear speakers out and put in sony 4 inch xplodes. they sound crappy when used cause of the crackle and the door speakers are completely blown out and dry rotted so i think ill run the sonys in the doors cause i have a pos radio shack box in the hatch for rear speakers. where would or how would i figure out how the speakers are grounded?

I've done a couple of those cars. They have the front speakers wired in some weird way. I forget exactly what's weird about it...maybe the negatives are tied together or something.
Anyway, you have to rewire the front speakers. But it's not hard...you don't have to run the wire into the doors.
Go to the kick panel inside the car, and look where the wires come in from the door. Follow them around for a bit, and you'll see that two of them go through a two-pin plug...... the plug looks like this:   |-
Unplug the plug. The side of the plug that comes in from the door is a good, non-weird set of speaker wires. Attach a longer piece of wire to them, and connect it directly to the radio. Repeat the process for the other side of the car.
