Last week I installed a PAC Audio AAI-MAZ aux input into an '06 Mazda 3. Everything worked fine for 2 of the 4 days it was in. The other two days the radio would power down after about 45 seconds of use. The radio works fine on AM/FM and CD. Of course, when I called PAC, they said they've never had anyone with that issue. so, I put in a wireless FM mod to get the customer through her vacation. My question to everyone is replace the AAI-MAZ or go with a P.I.E. MAZ/PC-ALP?

So are you thinking it was just a defective piece?
