i want to have a variable LP crossover for each channel. 125-60 variability and the other 70-30 or 2 at 125-30 variabilty. i would like to mod these into the dash or console of my 96 cherokee. i have the schimatics from my home audio powered sub amp board with a variable LP crossover if that will help.

honestly, i need someone to design it for me and possibly build it.

it would be for 2 subs and will probably have to be active.

it would be much easier to buy an in-dash active crossover that will do what you want plus much more i suppose.

Ditto. Just get an electronic crossover. It's likely to be cheaper than what you can build and it would be guaranteed to work.

i apreciate your posts.

if you can find  a unit that has 2 low pass channels that cover the frequency range i am interested in then i would buy it.  i've looked.  i even considered 2 one channel units and i did not come across those either.

Try an Audiocontrol Three.2, or a DQXS with dash control unit.

i want to run one sub at a lower cut off than the other.  the lower frequencies are percieved quieter than the higher.  out of 2 speakers i will have the spl increase with the lower notes.  i have this set-up in practice in my home.  i also change the low pass of one of the subs to accomodate the style of music.  2 easy examples are rock/metal the low pass would be set around 110hz  and for rap/bass around 70hz.  those are liklely frequency ranges not something i would want on a switch.  as for the sub that i run at the lower frequency, i adjust that for environment accoustics.
