Which way should I point my 2 12" subs (i.e. Tword the front the back, sides, etc.)?

In most cases you will get the best bass facing the subs toward the rear of the vehicle, but results can very from vehicle to vehicle. So my best advice to you would be to try different positions and see what sounds best in your vehicle.

I agree, I would definitely try different locations. In my one car, the subs sounded best at the back of the trunk, facing the rear seats. In my other car, the subs sounded better against the rear seats facing the back of the car. Just play the same song over and over, and move the subs around for the best spot.
