Please excuse if this has been discussed previously.

When making connections between a mono sub out from a parametric equalizer to an amp's stereo channel input(s), how should one properly make this connection, (i.e. with y's, one channel, which one etc.)

Regards,

Jamey

I assume you are using a stereo amp to drive your sub.  Use a Y-adaptor.

It actually depends on the amp. Some stereo amps (remember, I said some not all!) actually only use the Left signal input when running in mono (bridged). If you plan on bridging your amp to drive your sub(s), then we would need the make/model of your amp to be sure if this would work (only using 1 RCA instead of the standard pair). Using a Y-adapter wont hurt though, just thinking of ways to save you a buck or two.
