HELP!

I have been going over this in my head and on here and I am thoroughly confused. My setup will be

2 - JL   JX100d

1 -  JL JX360/4

The specs, wire and fuse rating from their manuals are as below, (note: I have been running these fuses for over a year with now problem with 1 JX1000 and 1 JX360/4)

Based on what I read here, on the Recommended Power and Ground Cable Sizes chart AND looking at the specs from JL Audio, in my mind I should be able to be safe with this:

2ga, from front to back with a 250amp circut breaker up front. running to a distro block (3way fused)

4ga out to each amp fused at

80amp on each of the JX1000

50amp on the JX360/4

adding up to a max pull of 210amps, 2ga should be good up to  225amps (per your chart)

I have a 220amp alt, so as long as the car is running and I am not maxed out for a long period of time I should be ok?

Note: I have some 0ga to run from the front to the back if needed

i dont think you will catch anything on fire using 2G but if it were me id be running 0g. you are running right around the limit of the 2 gauge wire and your main fuse is too big according to the chart. it shouldnt have more than what the wire is rated to handle or your wire could start to burn up over time. some other factors apply, like how hard you use those amps and for how long. if you arent blasting the system full time then those amps will probably never see the 80 amps that JL rates them at. if you have had this system for a year now and everything still looks good, no discoloration of the wire from heating up then id say roll with it.
