2012 honda pilot popping sound

2012 Honda Pilot EX-L w/ factory radio 4 - Polk Audio MM651 1 - NVX JAD800.4 (4 channel amp) 1 - NVX JAD1200.1 (sub amp) 1 - NVX XTRI1 (Remote Module) 1 - Kicker Front Row 1 - JL Audio CS112LG-TW3 Installed the above equipment and it sounds pretty good to me but every time I turn off the truck there is a loud pop through the speakers only. I thought the ground might be at a wrong spot but I changed the location of it and it still pops when I turn off the truck. I used the NVX XTRI1 remote wire module to try to delay the turn on but no help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what is a kicker front row? where does the amp get its remote power signal from? back of the radio? ignition harness? cigarette lighter socket? you are on the right track trying to delay the remote wire but it might be because the amp is turning off before the radio so the radio will still be sending audio and the amp suddenly shuts off before and causes a pop. if you want to explore possible fixes just tap a temporary switch to the remote wire and test different timing scenarios to see if you can find a way that fixes the pop. it could also be a problem with the amp itself. try unhooking the rca cables while the system and car is off and then turn it on and off to see if that fixes the pop. if it does not fix the pop with the rca wires unplugged then you may have a problem with the amp. it could also be whatever device you are using to convert the factory speaker wires into RCA cables. you can try using the delay just on this device if it uses a remote power to turn it on. let the amp turn off first so that if this device is the cause of the pop then it wont be amplified through the speakers

kicker front row is digital sound processor. i didnt want to replace the factory radio so i used this i think it is because the amp is turning off before the radio. i tried disconnecting the remote before i turn off the truck and it doesnt happen. i just dont want to use a switch to have to keep turning off and on. i dont hear any other noise besides that loud pop

ok so you are getting the remote from the remote module which is turned on by the speaker wires. does this remote module turn the amp off as soon as you turn the car off? if not then this is probably your problem. it has a delay to turn the amp on but that same delay will keep the amp on when you shut the car off and the difference in timing could cause the pop. i would look for another power source inside the car that turns on and off with the car. if you have a cigarette lighter socket that turns on and off then you can hook the remote wire to the back of that socket or maybe there is a switched power source that is behind the radio that also turns the radio on too, this would be ideal because it would make the radio and amp turn off together.

no the factory speaker signal is going into the kicker front row. from there the rcas go into the amps. the kicker front row has a remote out so from there i go to the module then to the amps

ok so you know what needs to be done, the amp needs to turn off either at the same time or before everything else. i say find a switched ignition wire somewhere in the car that will shut off instantly as soon as you turn the key and hook that up to just the amp and leave everything else like it is

With the radio on and the system playing, remove the remote wire from which ever amp is making the pop. Does it turn off without making the pop?    With the system playing, physically turn off the radio using the power button on the radio, is that the same pop you hear?

Yes if I remove the remote it will not pop. Turning off or turning on the radio has no affect on the popping sound

On both of the amplifiers, temporarily apply constant power to the remote terminals. Does it still pop when turning off? Is there a relay on your turn on circuit? If so did you install a diode across the coil?

I tried getting power from a power outlet I have by the tailgate and the popping stopped. Thanks for the tip. Now it's only a small crackling sound when it first turns on. I removed the rcas and it didn't do it. Does that mean the amp might be the problem?
