If you're talking about audio equipment, everything except for satellite radio antennas is located inside the vehicle or under the hood.  About 90% of the time stuff will be either hidden under/behind body panels or dash panels, or under carpeting.  Also for amps there's always at least one power cable that has to run directly from the battery, through the firewall, into the cabin and back to wherever the amp is gonna be.

What exactly do you mean "how do most shops wire everything into a fuse"?  I'm sorry I don't really understand what you mean about that....are you saying like how do we get power to go to components that you may add on (EQs, tvs, neon lights, etc.)??  Or are you talking about something else?

Most likely all the wires are gonna be hidden because if you want it to look good than why would you want to see a whole bunch of cable and wire sticking out show and etc, so why not hide them.

The second questions i am totally lost how does a shop wire everything to a fuse well a fuse is when you have a short or when the fuse is blown it save your equipment(s) and stop the equipment from working until a new fuse is place.

I ran my power wire through a PVC conduit tucked up next to the frame rail because I couldn't find any place to hide a 2/0 inside the vehicle. Other than that I try to keep everything inside.
