I have 98 Chrysler Sebring convertible with stock infinity sound system and I want to keep using the amp but wire in a new radio. How do I go about this, I want to splice my stereo into same harness that my old radio connects to and still use amp. and how do I get amp to work. I also need wire color codes.

Use the 70-1817. If you use the 1818 you will not be able to reach your desired listening level. Either harness you use you must connect the blue wire of the harness to the blue/white or blue wire of your new deck.
I stock both of those harnesses as well as both for Nissan, 70-7550 and 7551. Neither of the amplified harnesses on those vehicles work properly.

So I tried splicing in new radio into my 98 chrylser sebring convertible and it didn't seam to work. Any advice on wire diagram to make amp and new radio work? The stock radio with infinity amp also had a 6 cd changer that I cut out. Is it needed or inportant?
