To put it simply you have 2 choices for amps. Either get 2 Class D mono amps rated at 1100 x 1 @ 2ohms, or find 1 Class D mono amp rated at 2200 x 1 @ 1ohm.
I don't think you'll find a quality 2000+ watt amp for cheap, so I think your best bet would be the 2 amps rated around 1100 x 1 @ 2ohms, each amp running it's own sub.
I would suggest 2 JBL BP1200.1 amps. Their 1200 x 1 @ 1 and 2 ohms based on a 14.4volt electrical system. Real world 12volt system should push around 1000 - 1100 x 1 @ 1 and 2 ohms, which would be perfect for you. The JBL BP's are good, reliable amps. They wont empty your wallet either! You can find some good deals on eBay for them, but watch the warrenties.
Here's how you would wire each sub to it's own amp (one 4ohm DVC wired in parallel = 2ohm total load)...

If you went with the single amp option, here's how you would wire both subs to it (two 4ohm DVC's wired in parallel = 1ohm total load)...

Crossfire makes the VR2000D which is 2000x1 at 2 ohms http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com/frameset.asp I am currently running a 1000D at 1 ohm on a BMF dual 2 ohm sub, been in my car for 2 yrs now with no problems, just make sure you have the juice on hand to feed them.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder"
