12'' kicker cvr’s, Best SPL?

I was wondering if someone could help me out with a couple of questions.  Are these kicker comp vr's 12" good for spl or sq?  And if for spl, what would be the optimal sealed box volume.  or would a ported box be better for spl?  need answers please..

If you want spl go with the sealed box... For the box volume check out kickers website and see there recommendations, but remember the music you listen to also will play a part in your box. If you want deep rumbling notes the box would have to be a little bigger for tight bass you would have to use the minimum space recommended.

If you want max SPL you will want a ported enclosure with a volume of 2.25 cu.ft. Per sub and a port  3 x 12-1/2 x 20-1/2 per sub.
