I want to add some bass to my truck but do not want to go through the hassle of putting together a system. I am looking at the infinity basslink sub and the bazooka rs10a sub. I used to have a Kicker solobaric 8 in a custom enclosure running off of a PPI Powerclass. Now I know that neither of these could produce the bass that my system from before did. However, my questions are: Which one is recommended? Also, whether or not I am wasting my time using these and should put another system together. It has been a year without bass and I want something clean and decent but does not take up a lot of space. I currently have Boston 5.5 Pro components running off of a JL Audio 300.2 amp. Any input is appreciated.

I would definately go with a bass setup like a 10 inch solabaric or a type r sub in a truck box...it would sound ten times better then any basslink or bazooka sub..

i am with Rjahar01.he L5 or L7 (kicker) truck box will not only be louder, but WAY WAY WAY WAY better sounding than either of the two.  With the Pro's as your front stage, definitley run a clean sub to them.  Done a lot of the truck boxes, and spending a little bit more now will more than pay itself off in the long run
