2001 civic/ how do u pull out the radio

i did some search on this but i cant seem to find the right instructions. i looked at it but cant seem take it out. so my last thought was to pry out the whole radio/a/c plate.

Cant view the linked you showed. Heres an easy way I do it. Remove the cover piece behind the cupholders, should pop right off. Remove the 2, 8mm bolts holding the radio in. Now heres the trick get a long screw driver. Remove the 2 stopper keeping the glove box from coming all the way down. Now you should be able to get access to the radio's mounting brackets from the glove box. Take the screw driver and push out on the radio from behind. The whole assembly should come( pop ) out. Dont try to pop it out from the front for 2 reason.  You will scuff and ripped the dash( like paper ) and 2 the clips will brake this way. That should take care of it for you. If you have one that the cup holder have a cover you will need to take apart the console not all but some. Start around the shifter and you'll see what I mean.
