the other day i ran all the wring for my amp in my 90 lumina euro,i didnt hook the amp up just the power wire remote and rca's no ground yet, when i cam out in the morning my battery was dead.i jump started the car then turned it off and let it sit for a while and it was dead again, after un hooking the power wire jump starting it again and leaving it sit again its now fine starts right up.

what could be cuasing this? i heard it could be the power wire touching metal? i looked it over and didnt find anything out of the ordinary

any help is appreciated

Hook up the ground. You never want to run a positive wire and leave it hooked up without running the ground at the same time.

If i were you i would make sure that you actually have your remote wire hooked upto the accessory 12volt line and not the constant as that my be your problem.

usually remote is just all blue and without that hooked up, your amp will always stay on and drain your battery
