I have recently replaced all the speakers in this car. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem where only the right side side of the car was playing lows and the left was playing all highs. Any help in releving this problem would be greatly appreciated. Wiring diagrams would also be a plus. thanks in advance,

What kind of radio are you using?
Left front + is tan, Left front - is grey
Right front + is light green, Right front - is dark green
Left rear + is brown, Left rear - is yellow
Right rear + is dark blue, Right rear - is light blue
Ignition is yellow (check with a meter or lest light to determine which yellow is ignition and which is speaker wire)
Black is ground. Orange is battery,
There are also a second gray and brown wire which are part of the lamp circuit for the car. Test these wires so as not to hook them up as speaker wires.

If you have a volts/ohm meter, then check to see if any of the speaker wires are grounded. Unplug the factory radio and place the black probe of your meter to a ground such as the black wire in the radio plug and touch each speaker wire in the radio plug with the red probe of your meter. Put your meter on a ohm's scale of around 200 ohms. You should not get any reading of continuity to ground on any speaker wire. If this is true, see if you can have your radio tested by a stereo shop. If it turns out to be the radio, consider replacing it due to it's age. If you do get a reading to ground on any speaker wire then replace that speaker harness.
