Bad wiring?

I just installed a pioneer deh-p8000r in my 96' explorer. Everything works fine except the front and rear speakers will not work. I tried different ones to make sure it wasn't the head unit, it is fine. I have checked all connections 10 times over, they are also ok. I  thought the stock speaker wire could possibly have a problem but all four of them will not play. (They worked fine yesterday with the other deck.) Should I try to run different wire or does anybody have any other ideas.

there may be is an amp in the rear right quarter panel did you get your speaker wires there? If your truck has a facory amp and you did not bypass it you will get no sound from the radio.

also on pioneer if even one speaker wire sees ground no speakers will play check continuity to ground on all speaker wires at the radio. If you get a beep whith one of the speakers that is your problem! Maked sure no speaker wire got caught when you put the radio in the dash maybe it is touching th eradio chassis or ground! You will need a multimeter to do the above test but if you dont have one i think u should get a cheap one (they are good to have)

Make sure your speakers aren't grounding out. Another easy to test for speakers is a tone generator. Those things are great..Hope this helps.~The Rookie~
