I need the radio wiring diagram for a 1999 Ranger.  I have a 1998 - 2000 Explorer AM/FM CD I want to install.  Plugs don't match?  Need pin out for truck and radio!

If you are doing a hard wire in that car your best bet is to get a tone generator, and a DMM. Don't use a test light. Anyway, find all of your connections and solder and tape.

I wouldnt use tape behind a dash because it can fall off because off the heat in the summer and cause a short. Use crimp on bullets to connect wires togethor like when you crimp the radios wiring harness to the vehicles or to an extra one you bought.

For a pinout, see if this helps: http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Ford-Wiring.pdf.  Tape'll be fine as long as you use the quality 3M stuff (Super 33+).  I can't believe how cheap guys said this was (90 cents a roll at the HD?).  Here down south, it's around $3.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
